How policy can create sustainable markets for renewable energy & industry decarbonization

To address the climate impacts of the energy system and industrial companies, a well-designed government policy is needed to create the market conditions for renewable energy production and industry decarbonization. This session will discuss those ideal market conditions and the types of policies that can create those conditions.

You will learn:

A framework by which the work of anyone engaged in climate and energy-related legislation and regulation, including government officials, regulatory staff, renewable energy developers, and building decarbonization leaders can be connected to and impact climate regulations. :warning: Attendees should have at least a rough understanding of what kinds of policy changes are key to their climate goals around renewable energy and industry decarbonization.
